Adam Lee is a photographer based in Liverpool, UK. He is a freelance photojournalist, commercial photographer and photographic workshop facilitator.
His work has been published in in the Observer Escape Magazine, The Observer Magazine, The Independent on Sunday, The Mail on Sunday, the Big Issue Scotland, 20x20 magazine, Granta Books and various European dailies.
Much of his work centre around disability and photography, both through covering disability events such as the DaDaFest 2009 and though his work facilitating participatory photography courses for charitable organisation Photovoice, in conjunction with the Liverpool City Council Children’s services.
He works closely with author Sara Maitland, providing publicity images as well as undertaking joint projects such as The Perfect Getaway for Lone Rangers, Hiding in the Hebrides and the forthcoming book about forest fairy tales to be published by Granta Books.
Adam is also involved with the photography scene in the North West. He is a company director for Look 2011: Liverpool International Photography Festival and is the host of the Redeye Photographers’ Network, bimonthly meetings at the Openeye Gallery, Liverpool.
He is available for commission both in the UK and abroad.
